UX Portfolio

Gone are the days that a UX professional could expect to receive five offers off the strength of their employment history alone. ROI and demonstrable experience is the key to securing your dream UX job. In recent years UX designers have had to develop strong portfolios to secure interviews with the best firms. Now even UX Researchers are having to develop portfolios. The trend is for more information, not less.

But what should go in a Visual UI designer's portfolio is not what should be shown by an Information Architect. We know (because our clients tell us - all the time) what needs to be in portfolios. Want to know what 100+ UX employers want to see in your portfolio? Ask us and we shall be happy to advise. Send us your portfolio for review or simply ask a question about your UX portfolio.

Graduate jobs and Visa advice

Many graduates approach us looking for an entry route into the User Experience market. Sadly, graduate level positions are like gold dust. Commercial experience is king, so do all you can to gain some. Approach as many client-side and agencies/consultancies as you can requesting internships, unpaid if necessary.

Once you have 12 months experience you'll find your job search a lot easier. With 24 months you're part of the UX gang and able to apply for mid-weight positions. We also work with experienced professionals looking to start a new life abroad. Many of these enquiries involve how to work in the UK for non EU citizens or how to work in the US for non US citizens. Contact us to learn more about visas for UX professionals.

Information Architecture & Interaction Design

Whether your mobile app has 5 screens or your intranet has thousands of pages, good information architecture and interaction design ensures your users achieve their digital goals with ease and in style.
